CPR/AED/First Aid for the Community/Workplace

(Ages 13 and over)
The purpose of this course is to train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. In addition, it will provide the lay responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. Participants will receive an Adult CPR/AED certification, Standard First Aid certification, and a participant manual. Infant and Child CPR certifications can be added for an additional fee.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider

(Ages 16 and over)
The purpose of this course is to teach those with a duty to act (including professional rescuers and healthcare providers) the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This course includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim of cardiac arrest. Participants will receive CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Health Care Provider certification or CPR/AED for Lifeguards certification and a participant manual. Emergency Oxygen Administration certification and First Aid certification can be added for an additional fee.
