Lifeguard Training:
(Ages 16 and over)
Becoming a certified YMCA Lifeguard is an achievable, commendable profession for almost anyone ages 16 or older. Skills needed to complete the course: swim 500 yards, tread water for 2 minutes, successfully complete the written and water skills tests, attend 100% of the class, pass the CPR/AED/First Aid/Oxygen Administration certification portion of the class, surface dives, and swim 15 feet underwater. Participants will receive: CPR/AED training, First Aid training, Oxygen Administration training, and Lifeguard course instruction.

Lifeguard Recertification:
Participants will have to furnish valid CPR/AED Pro, Emergency Oxygen and First Aid
Certifications to participate in class. Recert for these offered prior to class.
