(Ages 5-18)
The Penguin Swim Team, member of the Kentucky-Indiana YMCA Swim Association (KIYSA), is a youth competitive swim team.

Participants will have the opportunity to build competitive swimming skills, learn the rules of competitive swimming, and increase swimming endurance. Participants will practice 3 times a week. Competitions include an opening meet, five dual/tri meets, and a championship meet for the full season, which includes both sessions. Participants will also receive a team t-shirt and swim cap. Team suits will be purchased separately.

Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle and backstroke without stopping.

Practices will be held at the YMCA of Southern Indiana Floyd County branch.
