Midnight Basketball
Midnight Basketball is an eight-week summer basketball program for middle and high school students ages 12-18 beginning in June. The participants in Midnight Basketball will enjoy a fun and active evening of basketball based around the YMCA’s four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Each youth in the program will receive a T-shirt for participating. Jerseys will be provided for the Midnight Basketball league teams.
Midnight Basketball will run from June 22 – August 12. The first two weeks of the session will be devoted to breaking youth into evenly matched teams. All participants must attend the first two weeks to be placed on a team. After teams are in place, no additional changes will be made to the roster.
The YMCA Midnight Basketball is sponsored by the General Mills Foundation and New Albany Parks and Recreation.
