Did you know Volleyball was invented at the YMCA? We do a clinic approach. For the first 4 weeks we will practice and teach basic skills, work on form, game rules, etc. The last 2 weeks will be a tournament.

In YMCA Youth Sports programs there are no tryouts or cuts and everyone gets to play. The emphasis is on teamwork, good sportsmanship, self-esteem, and learning to respect and get along with others. The emphasis is not on winning. YMCA Youth Volleyball stresses all of the positive aspects of team sports in a fun atmosphere for boys and girls, grades 3-6.

Practice times are tentative based on the number of participants that sign-up. The children of head coaches will be placed with their parents. All other children will be randomly placed. Games will be held at First Christian Church, 3209 Middle Road Jeffersonville, IN 47130.
